I. Introduction
TThis Readme file provides specific information you should know before you install and use any of the driver versions that have
been listed above.
In addition, this file also provides a list fixes and enchantments that have been provided with the driver versions that have been
listed above.
For additional information on the printer features and driver features, refer to the online help included with each software
component and the printer or mfp user guide.
II. Known Issues
Please refer to the hp LaserJet 4200/4300 printer Software Technical Reference manual located under "Manuals" at
www.hp.com/go/lj4350 _software for updated listing of known issues for the hp LaserJet Printing System Software.
II. Defects Fix List
The following issues have been fixed with this release:
- Tray Esc codes for tray 4 and 5 are both the same in the GPD
- Admin to admin PnP performance problem
- PCL-XL errors when printing multiple copies from Excel 2003
- HPZUI4wm.dll causing spool crash!
- Multiple copies and collate cause double the output
- CAC control does not work after hp 4730 printer drivers are installed
- HP OpenView Asset Center crashes when printing with various HP printer drivers
- Excel won't print in grayscale.
- Driver attempts to print "mopy" when device settings set to < 80mb RAM
- Locked duplex=on with the preconfiguration tool, after install the driver was locked to duplex= Off
- Wrong font name displayed in all HP drivers
- Collating print jobs prints a following error page
- EMF bloat with PowerPoint 2003 files
- First Page From.....Remaining Pages.... from different media sources does not work when printing booklets.
- Word crashes when clicking Properties in the print dialogue window.
- Layout Options > Page Order > Back to Front - does not seem to work properly when duplexing.
- Excel document not printing properly in A4 with UPD 4.1 or discrete plug and play bundles
- Scaling percentage in Excel>Page Setup, reverts back to 100% after entering into a newer driver.
- Font Shifting in Excel w\PCL5 Driver when printing multiple tabs.
- [Field] Page formatting problems with Excel and Edgeline PS CPE1
- unidrv.dll version 6 causes previous drivers to print gibberish
- PS Driver showing bad output with CorelDraw
- Crystal reports does not print correctly w/traditional driver or UPD
- Test page prints black boxes in XP 64
- Opening driver properties takes up to 5 minutes for some users
- Wide A4 doesn't work with PCL6 or PS
- Documents are not printed correctly on A4-R in booklet mode with PS driver
- Collating print jobs prints a following error page
- Navigating to Printing Shortcuts resets Job Storage options.
- MS Word displays "Unable to complete print job..." message
- PCL5e and PCL6 Shortcuts -Flip Up Issue
- Drivers installed on a virtual node in a cluster server environment do not have the ability to add .pcm font files
- Hostname fails if it contains a "." (period) character
- Special Pages option - Print pages on different paper -- does not have all options.
- HP Printer Driver - Privacy Settings - splash screen is not localized in German
- DmDuplex=2 does not work
- Printer install hangs - Class Issue
- IPP printing does not work as expected
- Staples setting is not available on the Output tab
- Extremely slow response when requesting Print Preferences page
- Problem with spacing in PowerPoint slide.
- External Font File Causing Driver UI to Crash
- Printer shortcuts fields cross populate in several different use cases
- Quicksets/Shortcuts Upgrade
- Spooler crashing in W2k3 cluster sp1 environment
- Settings done in advance tab is not sticking after upgrade
- [EVO4.5 - DISCRETE] WPU - Some issues are observed with Cluster for Condor
- Printing Preferences tab layout is different for Finnish XP clients for 8050/8060 printers
- SNP Does Not Launch on Cluster Nodes for Discrete Drivers
- Moving to Printing Shortcuts tab resets driver options
- Print drivers initialize COM with the wrong concurrency model
- HPBPRO.exe issues - causing crashes on the spooler
