HP Photosmart C4100 Series All-in-One - Loading and Printing on 4 x 6 Inch (10 x 15 cm) Paper from the Photo Paper Cassette
Introduction
This document provides instructions for loading and printing on 4 x 6 inch (10 x 15 cm) photo paper in the HP All-in-One.
Loading and Printing on 4 x 6 Inch (10 x 15 cm) Paper from the Photo Paper Cassette
Follow the steps below to load and print on 4 x 6 inch photo paper:
Load 4 x 6 inch (10 x 15 cm) paper
Remove all paper from the paper tray.
Using the grooves, pull out the photo paper cassette. Figure 1: Accessing the photo paper cassette
Pull the photo paper cassette towards you.

Load up to 20 sheets of paper (print side down) into the photo paper cassette. Figure 3: Loading paper into the cassette
Adjust the paper-length and paper-width guides to fit the loaded paper. Figure 4: Adjusting the paper-length and paper-width guides
Line up the photo paper cassette with the right side of the input tray, then slide it into the printer until it stops. Figure 5: Inserting the photo paper cassette into the printer
Pull the tray extender out to hold the printed photos.
- When finished printing, remove the photo paper cassette and store it in the cassette storage area on the left side of the HP All-in-One.

NOTE:

Photo paper may be stored in the stowed photo paper cassette. This protects the photo paper from rips, wrinkles, and curled or bent edges. |
Print with 4 x 6 inch (10 x 15 cm) photo paper
Choose the method you want for printing and follow the appropriate steps below:
Printing from the control panel
Insert a memory card into the appropriate slot on the HP All-in-One.
Press View and Print
.
Press the right or left arrow 
until the photo you want to print displays on the color graphics display, then press OK
. Choose 4x6, then press OK
. The image preview will display.
Press OK
for the photo menu.
Make any edits now, or choose Done Selecting
and press OK
.
Make any additional changes here, or select Print Now
to print.
Print from the HP Software
Follow the instructions below to print from either the HP Photosmart Premier or the HP Photosmart Essentials software.
Printing from HP Photosmart Premier
Click the View
tab and select the photos you want to print.
Click the Print
tab. In the Image Settings
area, set the Image Size
to 4x6 in
.
In the Printer Settings
area, verify that the HP C4100 series all-in-one is selected in the Printer
box. Then click the Properties
button.
On the Printing Shortcuts
tab, select Photo Printing Borderless
or Photo Printing with white borders
.
Click OK
on the Printing Shortcuts
tab to save the changes and close the Properties
page.
Click the Print
button in Photosmart Premier to print the photo.
Printing from HP Photosmart Essentials
Click the View
tab and select the photos you want to print.
Click the Print
tab. In the Size and Quantity
area, set the Image Size
to 4x6 in
.
Click Printer Settings
. Verify that the HP C4100 series all-in-one is selected in the Printer
box. Set the Paper Size
to 4x6 in
. Then click the Advanced
button.
On the Printing Shortcuts
tab, select Photo Printing Borderless
or Photo Printing with white borders
.
Click OK
on the Printing Shortcuts
tab and then click OK
to close the Printer Settings
.
Click the Print
button in Photosmart Essential to print the photo.
